Two-tier sandstone driveway wall in Kurrajong

This Kurrajong driveway had a steep, bare edge that washed out every time it rained, and there was nowhere flat enough for the trailer or the bins.

We cut the bank back in two stages and built a two-tier wall in 2-metre A-grade sandstone blocks, with the lower tier holding the driveway edge and the upper tier squaring off a lawn terrace above it. Drainage runs behind both tiers so the fill stays put.

Two courses, laser-levelled and string-lined, finished with the driveway re-sheeted and the terrace turfed. No more washouts.
